Hon. Ramalingam Chandrasekar, Minister of Fisheries, Aquatic and Ocean Resources of Sri Lanka, and Mr. B.K.K. Kolita Kamal Jinadasa, Secretary to the Ministry, are currently visiting Japan to participate in the Island States Ocean Summit at the official invitation of the Nippon Foundation.
On the sidelines, The Hon. Minister will hold bilateral and high-level meetings with Japanese counterparts at the Summit, focusing on enhancing cooperation in fisheries and ocean resources, and discussing opportunities for Official Development Assistance (ODA) between Sri Lanka and Japan. All coordination activities related to the visit are being carried out by the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Japan.
